Title:

Summer Technology Associate

 

Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift and carry equipment up to 40 lbs. with assistance.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladder. 
• Must be able to work as part of a team.
• Must be reliable and able to take direction. 
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the District may find appropriate and acceptable.

 

Reports to:

Client Services Manager

 

Job Goal:

Assist the Office of Technology and Innovation staff to enhance student learning, promote the overall efficiency of the school systems, and maximize the educational opportunities available to each student.

 

Performance Responsibilities

• Unboxing, installing, and disconnecting network equipment
• Unboxing, installing, cleaning, disconnecting, and moving computers, printers, and associated peripherals
• Confirm, update, and record all technology equipment locations
• Prepare equipment for recycling
• Physically cleaning projectors and classroom technology
• Review, update, and organize departmental documents including how-to-guides,  vendor contracts, Memorandums of Understanding, and Student Data Privacy Agreements
• Communicate via email with vendors to acquire needed documentation
• Other duties as assigned  

Terms of Employment

• Temporary summer position. The start and end dates of the position are to be determined by the district with the majority of work taking place June - August.
• Starting rate of $15/hour 
• 40 hours per week
• Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License
